I first came to ITB as a student in 2008 and when I graduated in 2014, I was lucky enough to join the ITB staff. From day one, I have worked in the Finance Department.  I really enjoy it as every day I work with a great team and gain valuable finance experience.  I love interacting with people and I love working with numbers.

I was a Project Team member for the Core Version 22 Upgrade, which we successfully completed in November 2017. I continue to do school visits, as part of the Marketing effort, and give talks at ITB’s Peer Mentoring Programme both of which I thoroughly enjoy.

Up until recently, my role in the Finance department comprised mainly of Accounts Receivable, Banking, Travel Expense Payments and Petty Cash.

In January 2018, I began a new chapter in ITB and joined the TU4D project team as a Finance Work Package Administrator. This new position involves a wide range of duties to ensure we are fully primed for the merge with DIT and ITT to become the first Technological University in Ireland. My main responsibility is to co-ordinate and support the delivery of the agreed Finance Package Definition Reports (PDR), also to collate data and information from these PDRs to ensure effective delivery and successful designation in Autumn 2018. I believe this new Technological University will create remarkable and exciting opportunities for current and future students in the local area, regionally and even internationally.

I loved my time as a student in ITB, especially the fact that classes were small and lecturers knew me by name.  I have experienced first-hand how valuable and important all staff are to the running of ITB and as a staff member now, I like to contribute and use this valuable experience to make ITB and the new Technological University the best it can be for the students, staff, and the local community.

I have been playing with St Brigid’s GAA from a very young age and my passion for it continues unabated!
